Speaker Bios
Lory Clukey, Psy D, PhD, CNS
Dr. Clukey is a retired nurse educator. She LOVES retirement and being an educator. She holds doctorates in nursing and counseling psychology. Her master’s work was in community based chronic and terminal illness management. Recently she has worked with a team of researchers exploring the experiences of ICU nurses during Covid. Her favorite hobby is scuba diving and taking her dog to dock dog competitions.
Alexandra M. Donovan
Alex Donovan is a Board-Certified Chaplain who has worked in the hospice, hospital, behavioral health, and corrections settings. She currently serves in a staff-support role as the chaplain for healthcare workers and healthcare leaders at Optum, a clinical branch of United Healthcare. Alex volunteers as a Grief Group Facilitator at the Community Grief Center in Greeley, Colorado. She lives in Fort Collins with her husband and 7-month-old son and enjoys camping, hiking, writing poetry, painting (very poorly), and practicing yoga (even more poorly).
